The Likhaan: UP Institute of Creative Writing and the Department of Women and Development Studies, in partnership with the UP College of Social Work and Community Development, UP Center for Women and Gender Studies, and UP Diliman Gender Office, present PANayam sa Panitikan: Lunsad Aklat: … Dahil ang Bukas ay Para sa Mapagkalinga.

Join us for the launch of Rosalinda Ofreneo’s Dahil Ang Bukas ay Para sa Mapagkalinga, a poetry collection that traces a woman’s journeys through the intertwined processes of connectedness across the life cycle. The poems confront urgent realities: inequality, social exclusion, exploitation, climate emergency, and human rights violations, while also illuminating the culture of struggle, resistance, hope, and many more collective possibilities.

Come and join us in celebrating poetry, care, and the futures we are shaping.
