Join us for a seminar on “Microglia, the Neuroimmune System, and Their Roles in Neurodegenerative Diseases” featuring Dr. Janssen M. Kotah, DOST Balik Scientist Awardee and Postdoctoral Researcher from the University Medical Center Groningen, Netherlands.

This talk will explore the critical roles of microglia—the resident immune cells of the central nervous system—in maintaining brain homeostasis and their involvement in neurodegenerative diseases. The seminar will also highlight how modern approaches such as transcriptomics and big data analysis are advancing our understanding of microglial biology.
