Binalot Talks “Straight Out of Field School: The Kota Kalawi Excavation”

How did some inhabitants of Lanao del Sur address American colonial incursions? The Meranaw had Kota Kalawi, in the Municipality of Bacolod-Kalawi, which was a defensive fort built in the 1900s as a response to it.
UPSA Graduate Student Andreo Luiz Agbayani explores recent fieldwork at this site with a Binalot Talk on “Straight Out of Field School: The Kota Kalawi Excavation.” Join us in-person at Seminar Room 2 at Albert Hall or via Zoom.
As always, the Binalot Talks are open to everyone and we even encourage bringing your lunch as you attend. See you there!
